So i was jumping into my truck the other day, and the buttons on the back of my pants got caught in my seat covers (grey cloth) and put a huge rip in it. Is there anyplace i can get just that lower portion of the seatcover that you sit on? I am thinking dealer would only sell the whole seat? or they would rape you? Anyone ever had this repaired?

Do you have any local upholstry shops? We have place around here that can replace just the panel that is ripped.

I am going to have to look into it, because it just keeps getting worse.

ebay or your local wreckers. I picked up a complete seat for a 01" burban last year for $100.

Just go to a local auto upholstery shop and get a price quote on what they want to fix it.

Junk yards or part outs are you best bet. Some times you get lucky and maybe able to replace the hole seat cheaper then it is to repair it.

Just bought the lower part of the seat cover for mine from too, cost about $200 new.

Give Josh a call, great pricing and a vendor on here too.

I guess duct tape is not a recommended repair???

Well duct tape has been a thought many times, but i do want it to look nice, id rather not spend 200 on just the bottom part when u can get both seats all day for around 300.
