Hello so i have started on this swap. It is an lly into an 04 suburban. We gout alot of the bugs figures out but the problems we are having are No wait to start light, FICM error code and theft lock. I think we can get the theft lock off by relearning the computers like boisebiker talks about. We also wired the TCM to have power so we are good there. (I found a pick from the TDIguy for that. Thank you. Any one know how to get the wait to start light to work and the fimc to get power.

The FICM power problem is most likely due to the fact that the gassers power the relay for the ignition 1 circuit via the ignition switch, and the diesel triggers it via the ECM. Did you swap over the diesel fuse panel from teh truck or re-use the BURBS? If you used the BURBS, then you will have to add in a trigger wire for teh ignition 1 relay and change out your fuses to match teh aditional amperage required. And as for your wait to start light, you'll have to hook into the circuit going to the instrument cluster as I don't believe the BURBS ran the wire for it. Also you may have to add in a resisitor and an LED for teh actual indicator in your cluster as many of teh gasser clusters never got it added in.

We are going to use the cluster out of the pickup so the indicater light should be there. There mo way to run a jumper wire like the TDI guy does to get power to the FICM?

I believe he cuts into the harness and uses a remote relay for it as the BURB fuse panel simply can't be made to work properly I believe is teh conclusion he came to.

Have you confirmed the dark blue wire on the B slot on the plug for the guage cluster. My Yukon did not have that wire on the plug. If it is not there you need to run a wire from that slot to the engine bay and onto the computer harness. Hopefully someone will speak up if the wiring is that far off from the LB7 to the LLY. On the LB7 the wire goes to the C2(red) ECM plug in spot 36. Good luck and let us know how it works out.

jzts0214,
According to the GMUpfitter guide, the wait to start wire originates in the C-1 (small connector), pin 26. It is Dark Blue. You should also see this wire up in the connector beneath the Underhood relay/fuse center. I had the diesel instrument cluster connector for reference, and so added a wire from the corresponding pin on the SUV instrument cluster connector on down to the connector beneath the underhood relay/fuse center.
