i would say 10" on both for pulling. if not at least a 10" on 35's. i think 8" is the minimum on the 35's

33 or 35 would probably depend on the gear ratio, I run 33 sts's on a 10 inch rim with 4.10 gears

I have run both 33" and 35" inch tires and both needed a 10" rim. I had an 8" rim and mounted 1 33" tire on there and I thought it was too narrow. Whether or not you need a 33" or 35" tire depends on how much power your turning out. If your making enough power to turn the 35s and don't have any clearance issues, run them. The 33" have to turn faster than the 35" to achieve the same track speed. JMO..

You will cover more ground with the 35's, I run 4th gear with the 4.10s and 33's to be in the rpm range for my cam and charger

just going by what you have for mods in your sig i'd stick with 33's. if i was gonna build an all out puller i'd go with 4.56's and 35's

isnt stock gear ratio and tires the same ratio as 4.56 and 35's? You just get the width and wide tire with 35's right?

i'm honestly not sure if 3.73s and the 245 stock tires are the same ratio as 4.56 and 35s but the taller tires gonna allow you to cover more ground being taller and wider

so you guys would not suggest 35s on an 8 inch h2 rim?

it will be fine. depending on which 315 you have for the hummer rim, bfg says 8"-11" wide rim. good enough to start some where. big tires like that are better than smaller ones. what ever your giving up if any at all by the rim width should be made up for by that big o foot print
