Jeff: after 4 attempts to get the iq to work two trips this week to the serivce center i finally got Kevin to belive me that the IQ was defective. WOW does it work great - tell Kevin thanks. A couple things you might pass along for the techs to look at - first i noticed the old iq took a firm touch to change screens and the new one i barley have to touh it, 2nd, the compass would not work 90% of the time and give a error message and the new one comes right up locks in and works perefctly, 3rd the egt temps are right - when the old one was acting up the egt would shoot uo to 900 at a light - it never did that before - the new one purrs and works great. So after rebridiging what 4 times, virus checks, reboots, reflash - it was the iq - not the software or wiring or the other things we went thru. Also the new one i can touch the upper left dimmer and it works - the old one never would work - i guess the touch screen had some querk. Anyway it works - hopefully i will find a present from Banks under my tree - like the SD card for street map for the tme i and my wife have spent in your shop :) PS change the chairs will you - Mr Banks can afford a few comfortable ones

Only if Banks would answer the PM's. Thats ok, my money can be spent elsewhere.

i know - seems they respond when they think they are right - but in this case i was right all along - and not even a thank you from Jeff- too funny - i guess i wont be getting that free sd card ---

I sent two, still, weeks later no reponse.

Since EFILive isn't having anything soon, I'll be going with a Edge Unit over the banks to hold me over.

You have a 2011... thats the issue... how many other companies are releasing for the LML lol

This is huge business they will not release any more info then need be

(That was a 2 minute phone call to my sales guy at Banks)

I see that bullydog has slipped some info, but even the person slipping the info doesn't have all the info.

Even EFI Live hasn't released anything for the LML

Like the Banks Meth injection.. Soon.. Relax and Wait for something that will work with the IQ !! Ok Chuck I can wait.

Go ahead and order something... anything you want.. I'll wait for what I trust

my issue was the iq dropping dead - no screen at times - when driving, towing or not towing - i told them several time it was heat retlated and that something was worng - they reset it, reprogrammed it , said there was a virus- which i could not belive since i never have take it out of the truck - etc- finally afer it failed 3 times in 2days and 3 trips to the facyory- i got a new one and it is bitchen! the thing is the bomb when it works- i noticed it would crash when the compass would not load or it took a hard firm pressure on the screen to change settings -- my guess is there was / is a issue with the iq not the programming - i do think they are sensitve to temps - moving it wont allow the compass to work so hopefully the 2nd generation iq i have will be better than the old one --

That's because I've already answered your question in another thread yet you keep asking it. Once again, we don't have a tuner for the LML, just like everybody else, and I'll tell you more when it comes out.

What free SD card? And no you were wrong, more on that in a second.

Let's see here:

(More on this in a second)- they reset it, reprogrammed it , said there was a virus- No you were never, ever, told there was a virus by the service tech who worked on your truck and reflashed it or the tech service manager, you were told the OS was corupted which i could not belive since i never have take it out of the truck - etc- finally afer it failed 3 times in 2days and 3 trips to the facyory- i got a new one and it is bitchen! It still amazes me the lengths people will go to in order to try and prove their right. You had a bad OS just like I told you so we gave you a free A5 iQ for the trouble. Heck your orginal complaint was back in August (that was you complaining in here but not actually calling us) yet your wife didn't come by until the 8th of October. If you had simply called us back then we would have just sent you a free iQ.

Are you upset that you didn't get the answer you need or are you upset that Banks will not throw money at you and your site ??

Trust me when I say that the engineer's at Banks are working on the programming for the LML..

other then that stop crying about it.

The truth is, I was looking at Banks for a Band-Aid for power since EFILive is going to be a a few months. I sent J-Barker a PM asking questions, and approx. available date. Weeks later, no response, tried again, no response, then he posted in a thread.

You seem to know a lot about banks, you work for them? It sure seems.

Sorry, you calling me out about a issue I have with banks is my business. Yes, my PM was a little over board. I will admit and I apologize for that, but, common courtesy is a way to earn a customers business no matter how many times you have to tell them something. In a business you have to communicate. I don't know about you, but, when I'm trying to buy something you need contact between the buyer and seller, not just the buyer.

I asked Edge about there product, what do you know, I got a email from them them 1 hour later. That's customer service.

I don't get your gripe about customer service.... The rep clearly stated that he answered your question in a thread, hence not needing to reply to your PM's....

And no not calling you out, just wondering why you have such gripe about a product that isn't available from anyone yet.. and if your waiting for EFI live why not just wait ?

And anotehr thing it was 3 months because the truck is for towing not my daily driver - after the supposed fix i august we did not travel unitl october - again you think it's easy for my wife who works too to take time off to just drop on by! I dont get your attitude man - your product did not work - now it does - you should be happy that i am satsified instead of trying to defend yourself!
