Anybody installed these Jimmi Jammers? I recall a thread awhile back with instructions, search results nil. It may have been on the Other DP forum. I've had a set for awhile, but have not had a chance to install them.

I don't think they will be effective. I have never had my hands on one but it looks to me that crooks could still force the lock cylinder inside. If that is the case they could still gain entry by forcing the lock in and turning it which would act the same as turning the key. This is what they did to a friends truck.

I might be wrong, I'm just speculating.

The lock is the weak part. I seem to recall that someone on this board removed the lock and relied on the fob. He even posted instructions to wire a bypass should the power fail. I am going to have to search that out. Heck, we don't have a lock on the passeger side so we're half way there. Thanks for the input Max.

BlueOx03 wrote a tutorial on that. That is what I did as well. I removed my locks completely My bypass is a little different then what Ox suggsted but I'm going to keep it to myself ;)
