If you have a stock engine and transmission setup then I see no need to alter TCM programming. If you really up the power and have an Allison built then TCM will help if defueling and shift points.

at what point should you tune the tcm? And does it have more then one tune capability?

I only had mine changed because of the high HP tuning was defueling and lagging shifts. But since I had a built allison I had no worries on letting it take the power. If you mean a DSP tuning on TCM then no. No DSP support for the TCM OS's.

so with a 75hp ecenomy tune i should be okay with not tuning tcm

I see no need to alter the TCM for 75HP on a stock Allison. Now you run in the 150HP plus with a built Allison then yes I say time to make some TCM changes.
