just recently bought a used edge juice/*** and installed it love the on the fly changes
but i do have some questions i used to run a diablo predator on 100hp and my truck would blow smoke all day. now with the edge on level 5 125hp and level 5 low boost (most responsive) i get very littel smoke now so my question is why??????? why if im adding more power am i getting less smoke the chip seams like its working and i called edge and they said they have never seen them only work half a$$ they ether work or they don't. :confused:

Although I have never ran any other tuner I would guess that the Edge is doing a better job of keeping the ideal air/fuel mixture than the diablo was, my Attitude has been great and I have proven it time and again against highly modded LBZ's running Bullydogs and keep up well with my buddy running a Evo/PPE double stack on his LBZ.

exactly!
smoke is just wasted fuel. although I like covering dumb drivers in it, I'd rather have no smoke and better mileage with the same power.

:rolleyes: A Edge that will run with a PPE tuned truck.. Yeah right. He must be running out of fuel or something cause the Edge is no comparison to a PPE programmer.

How do you double stack an edge evolution and ppe? Or is he just using the evolution for gauges?

I do not have a built tranny, but I heard the Edge cs/cts race is pretty hot on the higher levels. That programmer is shift nice too.

the predator with the 100hp tune was the old version 2.00 and it didn't add any boost at all. The edge runs slightly higher boost tables which helps clean up the smoke. i also feel that my edge had alot more timing than my predator did. Timing will also clean up the smoke.
