I have noticed in the last couple of weeks my fuel gauge is reading lower when it has always read higher. The difference is small but it has never read dead on. When I filled up today I thought I was going to be lucky to get 20 MPG but it actually came out to 23 MPG.

Mine has been reading lower too. I fill up until the pump shuts off and the fuel gauge is not quite to the full level.

Mine still goes to full level but goes down faster than what it use to. Like yesterday when it was a little under half it only took 15 gallons. Before I would be a little over half and it would take 15. I hope sending unit is not thinking of a taking a dump.

Mine has always been up and down. always fill to the cap I think some times their is an air pocket in the top of tank.

Best mpg 23.4 unloaded 65 mph. 70 to 75 = 19 to 21
Worst 9.5 mpg 70 mph pulling 5500# boat 8.5' wide 32' long 12'9" tall
normaly get 11mpg pulling; 65 to 68

My fuel gauge dont work. spun back wards to the E. And has not moved. Once and a while when I fill it up it will move about a 1/4 and some times it will spin a round. Any ideas bad gauge or sender unit.....JD
