Ive installed Cognito's Pitman/Idler Arm Support brackets. Ive noticed after a little driving that the pitman and idler arm brackets have made contact with the frame and the pitman bracket has bent slightly? is this bad? thanks
Won't hurt anything, but if you spend a lot of time turning lock to lock, you might want to clearance the frame in the contact spot so they won't touch before your wheel stops do.

The little bit of bend is from the angle being a bit off on the one end on just the pitman bracket. When the jamb nuts are tightened it will bend slightly to the correct angle. Not the best solution, but not a big deal and the future production runse are to be changed.
I would suggest turning the wheels lock to lock and see where they may be contacting. Also watch yout trans cooler lines as the "pre support" days may have seen the drag link rising and making contact. I had my oil pan heater cord tied up there and the link hit it and severed the cord.

Thanks for being so helpful with my question. My miles are mostly highway and almost no offroading, ive noticed that the bracket has made a small notch in my frame. The bracket is bent slightly but everything seems to be okay.
Im going to install SD's sleeves then get an alignment to straighten everything out. Thanks for your help!
