Anybody every try putting a set of H2 wheels on a 3500 Express, or otherwise know if they would clear. They are 17x8.5 if memory serves me correctly.

I'm doing that very thing on my 3500 Savanna (along with 315/70R17's). With BFG AT's (mock-up tire from a friend), the tread fits under the fender, but the sidewall sticks out a tad. The backspace on the H2's works well, in the back. I think the edge of the wheel is about even with the fender lip, IIRC. Oh, the wheel will hang up on the D70 hub, and will need to be opened up a hair to clear.

Up front...well, I never tried it. I cut the stock stock suspension off my van, and am doing a SAS, so I had no interest up front. Sorry.

EDIT: If you end up wanting some H2's, my buddy has a set he really wants to sell. He ended up with two sets, and only needs one. PM me if interested.
