I was curious if anyone has this chip from Speed tuning usa. I have a chip for my Volvo 850r from them and it added almost 50 hp to the car. It remapped my fuel and boost settings in the ECU. My car went from 10psi to 18 and it flies now. This company has had nothing but praise from the volvo community. It might be worth checking out.

Hmm I wonder how they claim its better than the Edge, etc...when it doesnt add as much horsepower or torque as the Edge. And its "only" 399$. hmmm seems if it were REALLY awesome it would cost more. WHo knows tho..

I can tell you that the chip woke my volvo up. I went from 240hp to 290 and it dropped my qtr mile time from 15.3 to 14.20 and my 0-60 from 7.2 to 6.1 sec. I do like the fact that it actually remaps the fuel and boost settings. I hope someone will chime in if they have this chip on their Dmax.

Well I don't think it could actually be a chip :confused: Ok they say it's a chip but it's not. You send them your ECM and they just upload the code to it.. Bad idea unless you have a spare ECM.

Yeah I did have to send out my ecm for my volvo.. It took three days total from the time I sent in in to get it back. I had my ecu socketed so I can put back the stock chip myself anytime.

I can say that this company does deliver what they promise and the do good work. If I bought my truck used and didn't have a warranty I would go for it. I wonder if you can tow or have any adjustability with it as well? I would not be surprised if it is better than the current tuners out there but a little info on it is needed..

It is interesting that their HP claim for the LLY matches the claim for the Predator. I wonder if they just use a Tech II to copy Predator code into your PCM.

Either way, something is fishy.

That's too funny..... You would have to think there is some way to adjust the power. If not, forget about towing anything heavy. Anyways, I have 10,000 miles on my volvo with the chip from them and it is awsome.
