I know a heard a few people talking about it a while back but has a turbo back exhaust ready for our trucks(lly) Im affraid my temps are going to be to high pulling my big trailer which i will know tommorow. Also my exhasut is too loud on my powerstroke when you drive for hours on end. Is there such thing as a high flow quiet muffler?

My exhaust brake sits in front of my muffler, so I would have to find a larger exhaust brake to benefit from a larger exhaust. Don't know how restrictive the stock muffler is. I bet a diesel machanic would be the guy to ask. Good Luck, John

i forgot about the exhaust brake. So really all we can do is a buy a better muffler.
Yes. Find a local Donaldson dealer and go find a straight through muffler like is on the big trucks. What I did was to go from the back of the E Brake with a 3 to 4 inch pipe addapter. Then to this long muffler ,about 3 feet long. With no cat and this muffler there is no noticable difference in the cab. My wife and I drive long distances pulling 44 foot horse trailer, and I did not want anything louder than stock. I was very pleased that it was so quiet. A Donaldson muffler dealer has books that tell you flow rate and decibles of the mfflers so you can find one thats right for you. Hope this helps.
