or may very important one. This is my first diesel therefore bear with me. When my truck is in drive and I am standing still, I feel some mild vibratiion under my feet and some times I think I feel some very mild vibration under the center hump. Somehow, I don't think I was feeling this before. Don't forget that I only have 1200 miles on odo therefore I have not driven a lot. Is it normal for diesel or Should I take to dealer. Thanks.

Well...remember its a diesel...so it will vibrate a little. At what RPM do you feel this vibration? Is it only when you are stopped? I would be willing to bet its just normal typical diesel vibration, but who knows...does your truck have the Allison or ZF6? The only vibration that comes to mind that you could be mentioning is when you put [an Allison-equipped truck] in drive and keep your foot on the brake...the RPM's drop a little bit as a result of the torque converter straining the engine a bit, and when the RPM's drop a little bit, they drop out of the "smooth" idle RPM range and into a slightly rougher lower RPM area...

I have Allison, and I feel it at idle rpm 700-800.

I have noticed the same thing. I have concluded that it is fuel dependent and not all trucks have it to the same degree. In the winter mine was so bad it would tickle my foot (foot on brake) to the point I would switch feet or put it in park. Now in the summer its not as bad but still annoying.

Mine did the same thing when it was new but hasn't done if since about 5000 miles. 11,400 now.
