I have asked this before with out any luck so I will try it agin. Does any one know where to hook up a temperature coolant guage sensor for an auxliary temp guage. I was thinking about installing a tee in a pipe where the existing OEM coolant sensor is located in the front of the engine, but I don,t want to screw-up any readings it gives to the engine computer. Any thoought would be appreciated.:)

Adding a T in line with the factory sensor won't screw it up.

Try looking where the factory engine block heater goes into the block and see if there are any more holes on that side of the block that you could pull a plug out and install your sending unit or maybe one on the oppsite side of the block from the block heater.

Or T into one of the coolant lines on top of the engine, you could cut one of the steel lines and install a T with a couple of pieces of hoses to hook back up to the cut lines.
