Wish to hard wire an Ipod to stock radio, anybody try it? Plug 1/8" jack wire into back?

I'd like to hook in mine as well. The FM adaptor situation sucks in a busy market. Have both the Belkin, and the new $100 Transpod. Better than nothing, but not much better. Please let me know what you find.
