I have a 05 cummins 4x4, I put 35" tires on it and my speedo is way off, i'm looking for a programer that will adjust my speedo as well as power up the engine, anyone have any advice on wich one to buy? I heard the banks system is one of the best but it doesn't say that it will recalibrate the speedo.

I went to the Dodge dealership and they recalibrated my speedo for $20. I couldn't argue with that. As for Banks.....I have it on my 04.5 (600). I like it, but it does nothing until the torque converter locks in. I have the speed loader as well, and if I run 70 mph and get into it with the Six Gun on 5 it will cause the "P0088" trouble code (fuel rail pressure high) The Banks makes a big difference pulling a load, but nothing for running against a DMAX. I know, it sounds like something isn't right, but I know another guy around here with the Banks and he said the same thing. And no, the Banks doesn't recalibrate the speedo. The Banks is the only system I know that monitors your tranny, and torque converter lock-up to prevent tranny slippage. It monitors EGT's and reduces if they get too high (but all programmers do that) I did notice that I could also set the Six Gun to #2 and I get around 18.5 to 19 mpg running 72-75 mph. My tires might help there to. Anyway, if you want to make the truck fast, get Edge or Bully Dogg or TST. I am thinking about TST right now and whether I want to take the Banks off. I just like the tranny saver feature on the Banks......
