I have a set of Chrome H2's with the BFG 315 mounted on them. I've had them for about a year now and finally getting serious about them.
I have a question for those that have them installed with just the torsion bars cranked.
Are you happy with them?
If you had it to do all over would still have went this route or taken another?

I've only had mine on for 2 weeks and I love em. Ride didnt seem to change much for me either. i didnt have to raise my torsion bars up all the way either and still have Minimal rubbing with minor trimming.

Minor rubbing but I know when and where it rubs.
For the price, I could not be happier.

I have been happy. Definately worth the work for the amount of money saved.

I've had the H2's and 315's on for about 2 years and I'm very pleased. I would do it again in a second. I love the big BFG's in the snow, they look great, ride well, and are wearing very nicely. I should get at least 40k miles out of them. When they wear out, I'll replace them wi the same.

I've had mine on for quite awhile, I was recently going to sell them and reinstall my factory rims with bigger tires, but......my buyer did the same thing for his truck! I have now re-installed my H2's, boy do they ride better!!

Do any of you tow heavy with the H2's?

Do those of you with the H2 wheels and tires, who only cranked up the torsion bars to fit the tires, off road with this setup?

I've been wanting to do this, but without adding a lift I'd be worried that the off raoding ability would suffer (not that it is good with those stock tires -:t ).

I run mine off-road and have had no problems at all. I don't run the Baja or anything like that but spend a fair amount of time on trail rides and in the mud. It's not the set-up you want to compete with but it'll get you most places you want to go.

I hot shot cars around town on the side using a 50ft low boy which hold three cars. I am usually pushing around 15-18k and have not had any issues with the H2's! It is however difficult to find a Load Range E 17" tire, and when you do be prepared to shell out the $$$!

Did those big tires slow ya'll down a noticeable difference? I'm thinking the same setup but i dont want to go too big and get slowed down too much.

Not a huge difference, but it is a little slower. A little HOT O.J. took care of that. I also only lost about 1 mpg around town. The increase in traction is more than worth it and they give the truck a much bigger "cool" factor.

Are any of you running these tires on a 4X2? I have bought a set and wanted to make sure they are going to fit with just a little bit of modification.
