Hi guys,

I’ve got to change the fuel hose that goes from the water separator/fuel filter to the water drain valve (up by the thermostat.) Vehicle: 1992 6.5TD C2500 'F'.

Has anyone done this?
What procedure did you use?
Does the intake manifold need to be removed?
Fuel filter need to be removed? If it’s difficult I am open to re-routing the hose.
Any trouble spots I need to look out for?

Thanks for all your help ahead of time!!!!! :thankyou2

Just push it under the manifold in the front and reach for it in the back with the filter out of the way.

So remove the entire filter mechanism or just loosen it so it moves around?

Thanks! :)

Have been searching for answers that one of you may have.
Can I remove filter housing and find out if a line is leaking?
Is this the best way to replace fuel hose?
Just enough fuel to keep wet and not dripping.
Would like to fix, just wondering where to start.
Thanks,
Dewey
