I just called someone at Turbo City in Orange about putting a GM8 in for my GM5 and he said there is no diffrence? I said that sounds wierd, why would they change the designation number if there was no difference. What exactly is the difference? and is there any real reason to change?

and wtf? am i the only one who cant post a thread using mozilla browser? i have to go use IE to post a reply or start a thread? what am i doing wrong? is there a setting i have wrong? If i try in mozilla it will let me post the subject line but then i can not get the cursor in the text box....

Ok, i feel better now....

I had a similar answer regarding the GM3 and GM4 turbos. The guy could not give me a very clear answer but did say they were the same.

I had a similar problem with AOL. I used to use it all the time, just click on favorites and here I was, but now only get an error message and connection hangup.
I have to open IE just to access the site now. Don't know why the sudden change.

-8 got a longer wg shaft bushing due to early failure in -5, otherwise same.

Replace exhaust elbow to get the upgrade.

Major differences previous to -5, tho, in turbine and compressor and cartridge.

I'm using Firefox under Linux and I can post without problems.
