I have noticed the temp gauge on the trans is not rising above the 100 deg.(start point). I have even pulled a trailer with no change in temp. Where is the plug located on the trans? Is it a seperate plug or in the large cluster going into the trans? Any ideas what the problem could be?

The trans temp sensor is on the valve body.( pressure switch manifold) Have someone put a scanner on it and see what temp the computer is seeing. If the sensor was bad you would have a check engine light.
