Did you go to www.gmc.com and try to build that style of truck?

Wasn't available in 11. No clue about 12.

I had my 11 DRW 3500 Denali in my hands before the website even showed them available, so its not much help.

The gmc website is absolutely worthless. It always has been. The dealer is telling me they can order it but I'm thinking they are also absolutely worthless.

I have a 09 and the only way I can justify trading is going to a lwb Denali srw

There is no long box crew cab Denali on the gm order guide. Only short box.

No Denali has ever been offered in LWB. The 1500's are the same way. Why not just order a loaded model without the Denali package? There's very little trim difference and it's all cosmetic. Won't take long to change a grill and badges.

And you can get a lwb dually denali.

Ok I agree. There are numerous differences, but none of them is of any real consequence. The trucks are mechanically identical. You could in fact make a long bed into a "Denali" if you so desired. As you pointed out, the list of parts would be long, but purely superficial. I'll probably miss something but:
Wood Trim: Dash center, center console, and cup holders.
"Denali" door sills
Padded door panels
"Denali" logo for center of steering wheel
Exterior badges
Grill
Front Bumper

You are correct. I neglected to take into account the Dually. But the dually only comes in long bed and this is the first year of a 3500 Short bed. 3500 DRW and Long Bed, 3500 or 2500 SRW and short bed for the Denali, take it or leave it. The original poster did specify SRW.

you spend 8k + and it wont be factory fit/finish. its denali or bust im kinda over dropping 20k on trucks to get them how i want them only to be botherd by non factory fit/finish

and i am the OP. i have a 09 that most would kill for but i need a lwb truck. i couldnt justify trading and not getting my 8' bed, its half the reason id trade

You forgot resale. Tacking all that crap on that he listed will net about 10 cents on the dollar. Denali badge that matches the VIN will pay back the premium spent come resale.

That said, I'm a fan of the SLE/LT interiors due to the stowage and I like cloth seats, but that's just me;)
