I am probably going nuts but twice I have jumped in the truck and the driver seat is way out of adjustment and the pedals are up high. I only use 1 key fob and I have never used the auto seat exit button and even if I hit that by accident it should not raise the pedals to the highest setting.

Any ideas other than a shrink.

on my '07.5 my remotes are numbered 1 & 2 which coordinate to seat position memory buttons on the door, and also moves the pedals.

So when I unlock with remote "1" the drivers seat and pedals adjust to where button "1" has been programmed. Same with remote "2" and button "2"

...hope that makes sense

I just went through this with a used Cadillac I bought. Turn the engine off, pull the key out and the seat + power tilt goes into "trash compactor mode" :eek:

Somebody had the exit programmed for seat all the way forward and tilt all the way down. Could kill a big feller!

had same problem with my 2004 yukon(sold it) and my 2005 silverado, disabled onstar by the wiring in the vehicles and it ceased. Thought it was fobs so I quit using them, that krap went on for probably a year.
