teamsynergy 08-03-2005, 10:36 AM I have an 04.5 Duramax ext cab with 6 speaker non bose stereo. I have a stereo installer trying to get be to buy the DATA module.. I have no onstar or bose so is it nesscesary? I do not care about the door chime ar anything like that... he is trying to tell me my truck will not run... please advise... That would be a an expensive gamble. The PAC is only around $90 installed. I am taking out the stock radio and speakers and adding (2) Rockford fosgate 6-1/2" in the front doors and (2) 4x6 plates in the ext doors. I have a Pioneer DEH-P9600MP that I am going to put in it as well. I have gone to the PAC website but all this is confusing. Do I get the do chime thing? Do I get the steering wheel one?
