My Tahoe is back to the roads :) I'll install the new number plates this afternoon, and after reinstalling the relocated batteries, I can drive it again :)

Thanks! I don't know how much they will take before I get the new bill in about 4 weeks. The crucial point was to ward off the additional demand they could have come up with for the last two years. If they would try that now, things would be very, very difficult for them.

Hm, the rain seems to have stopped, I'll see if can get the batteries back in. If I can, I can even drive it again today :)
