Finger stick fried! Truck limped and now I am trying to get it back to stock for the time being. I put stock wiring back, blocker plate out and I am trying to get my kitty back in but am having some issues with clearance. I can't gte the truck up high enough and I already have it all torn down...no down pipe. Anybody got any ideas or can help me? Thanks!!!

Jack up front pass. side, wiggel and shake, it will make it in there. Good luck.

Jack the front up. It goes in through the front. You need to remove the 2 13mm bolts that hold the exhaust rubber mount to the Allison.

Not sure my jack will get the truck that high to go in from the front. Arg...

If you can get the tire off the ground, you should have enough room.

Use blocks of wood (or books) to get more height if necessary.

How fried is the finger stick?
I may be able to repair it for you. I have a shop in Stanton if you need it fixed.

Finger stick was a first generation unit...All wiring was good and solid...Must have just been defective, but after 2500+ miles of no problems?? Wierd...Oh well...

Be sure the flanges are aligned and it should go over both flanges just fine. Play with the back of the front pipe a bit, should have the right angle.

Use your jack or a strap to hold the pipe in place. REmove fender liner. Cuss alot.

I finally got it...what a pain when you are by yourself. Thanks for the easy tips...I should have though of those. I need to head to Autozone to see what codes I tripped. The fingerstick turned to goo. I will take a pic and post it. Looks like something fed back along one of the positive lines and...who knows? Strange how the truck limped. I also apologize if this was not the right forum...it's my daily driver and needed it back in one piece! That clamp was a 10 ****** job. I counted each one I let fly. Truck runs fine now. I cycled through 3-4 start-ups and it reset itself. Must have been 1093?

So, now I am stock again...I may dump my truck and go with an 06 just for the hell of it. My dad will get my 04.5 :)
