I scanned it to get the code when I saw the glow plug indicator stayed on. This started yesterday. I did some research here and decided to call Van Chevrolet in Scottsdale to check if I still have a warranty. He ran my VIN and mileage. I'm covered for another 6 days. My 5 yr engine/100k & 5yr/145k emissions warranty expires Nov 10th. I made an appointment for tomorrow. Whew!
I mentioned the GM bulletin that says to replace all 8 GP's and he says he will do what the bulletin says.
Be prepared when you call the dealership for service and have your info ready.
Van Chevrolet seems to be one of the good guys.

Just had the Glow Plug issue (#6 on mine - per my Scanner), took it in and they replaced them all under warranty today, for free. Had 49,700 milles - so got in just before the $100 deductable took over. WHEW !!.

I have 107 on mine are they covered to 5/145k standard? My #7 is an issue.

Funny--my #7 was the culprit also a few weeks ago.Called my dealer at app.105K. No gots--had to do it myself

You might be covered for the $100 deductable, if you somehow have a longer engine waranty than the normal 5yr/100K miles - check it out.

If you do not have some kind of extended warranty, then "not likely", as you're past the normal 100K engine warranty.

Exactly--don't believe in extended warranties usually on anything,in my opinion it's just a huge money maker for the manufacturer plus I do 99.9% of all my repairs and PM.My dealer has many times in the past done repairs on the house[really GM's house] well after either mileage or time on the warranty but the service mgr. told me those days are over at the moment.
