So I know that I don't want to build up my tranny, and I don't want to tempt myself so the Juice is out of the question.
I've been looking at the Edge EZ, and the Hypertech III.
Both have advantages.
Seems like a lot of you guys are using the Juice, but who has used the EZ? Can the Attitude monitor be used with it? I'd like to have the display.
I can get a good deal on a Hypertech III, but do I even want to touch it?

what are you going to be doing? towing? just playing? 90 hp unloaded is pretty safe and that what the regular juce is without the attitude. Add the attitude and you getthe 125 hp setting as level 5.

Mostly just playing.
Will do some towing, but just the boat and stuff.

I liked my Hypertech that I had. I have the HOT PPE now and just sold my Hypertech for $225. New one is like $399 unless you can find one on sale. The hypertech helped my fuel mileage but I think the PPE is helping even more cause the best I got was 20mpg from stock 17mpg unloaded at highway speeds 75mph. Went to silver lake MI. this weekend with a trailer and two quads and a bed full of crap and got 19mpg at the same speeds so I think the bigger chip is helping even more:ro) You just have to love these trucks.:grd:

wjjeeper,
The EZ won't allow the use of the Attitude, you have to get the Juice for that. Remember too just because you have 5 power levels on the Juice doesn't mean you have to use them all! If you're set on a programmer I reccomend either the Predator or the Bully Dog Power Pup. In fact you can get the Power Pup and their Outlook monitor (gauge package like the Attitude),that way and still not be too far off just the price for just a programmer. It will also get you on the fly power level selection that way! Call us if you have any questions, we'll be glad to help you.

You would be fine with a 90hp added tune like a regular juice. JMO hypertech would work if you want something that is a bit less expensive. Just about any program with a max of 90 hp would suit you, it just comes down to what features you want/need and how much cabbage you want to drop. I like the edges tunes, TTS's tow tune is very nice and runs pretty cool egt's compared to others I have seen, those are the more spendy ones.....you have gauges yet?

No I don't have gauges yet. That's why I was asking if the Attitude monitor could be used with the EZ. I don't think I could keep out of the two extra levels. :D
Maybe the Powerpup with the Outlook would be just what the doctor ordered.
I can pick up a Hypertech for about $250 CDN..... should I grab it and then do pillar gauges?

up to you, even with gauges(unless you buy some real freaky ones) you would be less $ than an attitude/juice set up. It would get the job done far ya just fine if thats what your asking.
