What would be a good replacement for the stock taillight's. Mine have cracked right at the plastic mounting tab. This is the second set I've had do this and my dad's did the same when he had less than 10k on his LBZ dually.

I think lots of folks go with the 'non-dually' tail light, just needs a small bit of modifications I believe. I don't know that they are built any stronger though.

Yeh I have the SRW tailights on mine (just require swapping the wiring harness or modding the old one). Anyway, are you running GM lights or aftermarket replacements? Reason I ask, all of our worktrucks are gm's and out of the 20 trucks only a few have broken tailights and most of those were from crap catching on them when unloading pallets of material out of the back.

I believe someone over-torqued them from the factory and cracked the plastic. Over time from driving on rough roads they break completely. My Black truck did not do it, but both my Pewter truck and my dad's truck both did it.

Mine did the same, I molded a new tab using epoxy. It been 2 years since I did it and its holding.

One in the same. think mine even says Recon on the backside of them
