I bought a 91 6.2 to put in a 82 burb. I have all the 82 equipment put on the 91 block. New oil pan gasket, pilot and through out bearings. What else.

Make sure you only use gaskets where the factory did. Gasket makers will sell you gaskets for the pan and such, but don't use them. Use rtv silicone. All the parts you need will interchange except for injectors, as 82 injectors use a coarse thread body.:) :grd:

I should mention that my old engine is a late 90's Gm Goodwrench. Also some of my spare glow plugs say "9g" and some say "12g". what does it mean?

9g is the old OEM style of glow plugs, the worse for overheating and the tip mushrooming. its a 6v type.

12g I think is the military version. dont know much about it other then that.

Save yourself some head aches and throw away the 9g's. Put in a fresh set of 60g's or some of the fast heat self regulating types like kennedy sells.:cool2:
