Just looking for some discussion on tire selection for the new 2011 LML, 2500HD SLT or SLE. What individual preferences might be.
And also, when I looked at the SLT vs. SLE trims, I really liked the storage of the SLE. Looking for current owners and whether they prefer SLT or SLE and why?

I too prefer the SLE layout and materials. It would certainly be my choice, it feels like a truck but still has all the amenities like bluetooth and auto dipping mirror if you spec the "convenience pkg" (that's what it was called on the LMMs anyhow).
The reason the 16s are no longer is offered is because they are too small to fit the new 14.2" discs (up from 12.8"). I would 100% get the 18s instead of the 20s. They are the perfect blend of practicality and looks. You get a nice big sidewall as the tires are now 32.5" tall stock so you can go up fire roads without pinching your tires and getting a flat. It will also provide a more cushioned ride than the 20s. However, the sidewall isn't too big that it'll feel "wallowy."
One last thing, if you think you may upgrade your 7k trailer at any point get the 3500 SRW CC SB. It has a 11,500 GVWR so can handle a far bigger trailer than the 10k GVWR 2500 while the ride is, to me anyway, very similar. Resale is better too. Btw, don't forget 4x4. Like a diesel, you get it back come resale and it can save your a$$.
