Sounds like "hair tonic" to me...or the "Tornado fuel saver"...

FBA - How was the fit up on your Bushwackers out of the box?

Fit was fine, except that I had rubbing before I put them on...and had to hammer back more to try and fix that. That sort of worked, till I turned into a parking lot with a slight raise on the sidewalk...which made it rub and break off a piece of the inner part of the flare, inside the wheelwell. That happened only once on each side (both sides broke off)! Now, it's perfect! The damage isn't something you'd see anyway. Fact is, I need to bring the front up an inch to get it level with the rear. I think I need to change keys on the T-bars. The Bushwhackers would fit a stock setup perfectly, or a higher lift, or my lift with smaller tires/wheels, or a different backspace/ offset. LOL. That's about the only thing I need to do to be done with it. They fit perfectly and look awesome now (painted to match).

Here is a good article on the magnets.
Long story short, no.
