hey all. just wanted to add that i broke 100,000 miles earlier today in my 04.5 LLY. Yeah that's right warranty is gone now. i have had no major problems with mine. the only thing i had replaced was a leaky high pressure hose on the power steering pump. i have been fortunate that my injectors still read balancing around the +1 to -1 range. I guess you can say that the truck is broken in now. i may pass it down to my employees and get an 06 to play with.

you all are great on this forum and i am thankful for all the tips. thanks again and hope to see more people turn 100k miles on their lly's.

Good to hear it. Most of us only complain. Even with the injector issues, and the overheating issues, I still think we made the right choice the day we signed on the dotted line!

Great! Love to see something positive about these trucks! I plan on keeping mine for well over 100k... unless, of course the urge to update overwelms me (and the old girl suggests it).

I put them on the back of my Caprice and the wet/dry traction and noise level is very good in my opinion. Only thing I don't like is the price to tread wear ratio, they lost about 1/8" of tread in only 5k miles and I don't drive hard.
