my 02 dmax with 64k was is the shop today for noise from the rear wheel area. Dealer called and said the the wheel seals were shot. Not covered under warrenty $950.
Isn't this really quick for rear seals to fail?
$950 seems pretty high for this.
thanks

The wheel seals were making noise? That does seem kinda high.
5 X 75/hr = 375 Fluid- 120? Seals - 50? total $545. Rear wheel seals don't make noise.

I have seen/heard oil saturated e-brake shoes chatter before, maybe that is what he heard?
