i have the edge cts insite for my truck. for a little bit i didnt not have a egt gauge hooked up because i was too lazy to drill the manifold. well did it today, now i turn the truck on the insite comes on. then right after all the pids show up it turns off saying no power to obd2. wtf? so i unhook it from the port and plug in again, everything comes on and no problems. only have this issue when i start the truck with it plugged in. i tryed it with the egt gauge unplugged no issues, anyone esle have this problem???? also there is nothing wrong with the port. retuned it today and had no problems.

Had the same issue with my Insight CTS (monitor only). I called they noted my issue and flagged my serial number for a data scan/upload for them to be able to diagnose my problem. He was not sure of any known issues, and unsure of the cause after trying the CTS plugged in and starting, starting then plug in, etc. etc..

I called back in a couple days later and talked to another guy and he stated he/ Edge were well aware of this issue and haven't come up with a fix. That was about a month or so ago though, in the meantime it has started working fine....?????

Mine started when I changed my display settings from analog gauges to the small 8/ or so digital readings, coincidence maybe IDK.

I had the same problem. Ran the insight for a few weeks. Then installed the probe and the unit would shutdown immediately after showing PIDS. I pulled the obd cable and insight out and used it to diagnose a friends injector issue. Then I put it back in my truck and it's been running perfect. Weird but it fixed the problem.

Is this on the color screen Insight or on the older insight monitor?

cts is the color screen. i reset the factory settings and just redid all the pids, now its fine. might have to reset it when you hook up a new device to it idk. i'll report back if it pops again.
