First, fuel filter. Even if it's not due. You might have gotten a bad tank.

Will it code without the tuning?

Good question? It just started yesterday on the way home from a trip. Tomorrow I will change fuel filter and try again to see if codes will reset. If so I will try with out EZ to see if it is related to the box or not.

Just went camping last week towing my 16K# 5th wheel. Used level 1 on my Edge Juice unit. Had no problems. I think it may boe something else. John

Are you haveing any over heating problems, or are running hot at all ? My truck also trys to run hot. I will hook up today and see if we pop any codes after new fuel filter install. First fuel filter install was at 6k, now truck has 14k.I put new design filter on truck. The truck has 4 inch exhaust after brake,no cat,and ez on level 1 and level 2. popped code on both levels. I will see today if fixed.

Egde EZ shouldn't throw 1093 codes, could be a bad harness, or connector...

Early version, 1.0 of the edge, sets codes. At least that is what I have been reading on the LLY forum.

I threw a 1093 code after driving 4500 miles on vacation. I am at the first stoplight in town and bam...limp mode. Could not beleive it. Not a single problem towing the 40' 5'er through the passes of Yosemite, up the coast....and I am 5 miles from town. I don't know what triggered it. I pulled off the road, read the code on my Xcellerator programmer, then reset it. No problems since.

I was at a complete stop, then took off, and it triggered the code. 590 miles on the same fuel tank - so I rule out the fuel. Engine and tranny were at normal operating temps. I really don't know why...but I reset it and it the truck is happy again.

I replaced fuel filter, pulled trailer 600 miles and no codes. The new fuel filters may be more restrictive than the old ones. I am going to get an extra filter to keep in the truck.
