looking for new rubber, got 265/75/16 BFG A/T TKO's on it now, but man they are big $$$ to replace now. these commercial tires (The traction ones not all season one) look like they will be as good in the snow and about $40 cheaper a tire plus they are load range "E" unlike the TKO's.
anybody got experiecne with these or a good place for a decent price on them??
thanks!

i saw that thread, was hoping to get more info than the three repiles on that thread..............................
doesnt seem like to many people are using this tire, maybe thats a sign..... I'm just worried this tire will wear terrible and handle like crap in the dry road. my TKO's are shot in 30k running 55-60 psi in them....

You can bring an old topic back up;)
I strongly considered running these tires. I may go to summer and winter tires and run those dudes. They are supposed to wear very well and be made outa a fairly hard compound. They are deasinged as thier name implys to be more of a comercial tire for construction ect. I think there are a few different modles too IIRC, one more AT like and one more highway like. Just going off my horrible memory

Im one of the three that posted in the last one, but I would reccommend them. i dont think you are getting alot of replies just because Im thinking alot of people dont know about them? if they know about them they dont have experience with them on their truck? big hype is the all terrians. but like you said, no e range.
if you want to stick with the 265/75/R16E you gonna have to wait a few months. plus price might be high becuase it will be just started. Ive got the 245/75/R16E, and I comparied them to a 265 and barely a difference it seemed.
I got them right after the snow stopped falling. Im looking forward to winter and I suspect that they will be great in the snow/ice.
I have used them in the back lot with the truck loaded full of wet firewood. the ground was very soft...and to me, they sure griped well.
seems the clubs have the better deal. i looked around and everyone else wanted $20 more per tire.

I have been running them on my truck for probably 4 or 5 years now. So far its the only thing that has held up on the front end. In fact I am planning on buying a couple more before I head across country on camping trip in Sept. I think the last two I paid a little over a hundred bucks for them. They are commercial tires and seem a bit stiff but they ride well and take the weight extremely well. I don't know of anything negative about them. Do keep in mind though I am in Central Florida so I have no experience with these tires in snow and ice. But for me these tires work very well. I agree with the previous post that most people probably don't know much about them. I buy mine from a commercial truck tire place. They are the ones that told me about them. hope this helps you
