Does anyone have a solution for the front tire shield/hub cap rubbing against the front tire. I have a 3500 that have the tire rings with the plastic center caps. I have tried re-centering the ring several times. I even bought some rubber window insulation and put it on the ring in the hopes that it would space it out from the tire. It worked for awhile, but it always comes back.

You sure it's the wheel? These trucks are notorious for a chirp apprearing to come intermittantly from the wheel well / drivers side area. When I heard it they said it is the air compressor kicking in and causing a chirp on the serpentine belt. The air compressor ( or something along those lines ) does this only when you are using defrost, heat, or air conditioning. Check into that. The way to test it is to turn off any climate controls and go for a drive. Then turn on your air conditioning or heater or defrost and listen.

Hope that it is the same thing for you as it was for me.
