I have one on my truck, curious if on 0 (stock) does it still modify the engine settings? I blew both head gaskets and I dont want to go through that again! Any thoughts?

How many miles do you have on you vehicle and how many of those miles have you been running the edge?

It has 130k, and I dont know, Ive only had it for 5,000 miles :( It was on there when I bought it 5mo ago.

Well in that case who knows how the guy drove it before you had it so I wouldn't think the edge would take out both head gaskets on level 0, the guy may have know the gaskets were going it might have been starting to pressurize the cooling system when he got rid of it. but if that was the case I would have thought it would have gone out sooner then 5k but who knows.

True, you do not know the history of the guy.. Some guys with programmers can still drive normal others can not...

On level 0 yes... It is stock...

I know of guys that run level 6 as a daily.. In my opinion I would say if you keep in level 3 & below you will be fine.. I like level 2...

Been running my edge on level 3 for daily driving and level 2 for towing for 10,000 miles and no problems for me. But as far as stock 0 setting I think it does actually modify the timing just a little, if I remember right it is 2 degrees. No fuel is added though.

With the Edge on 0 timing is still modified.
