For the guys running a pre-oem fuel filter, do you run the factory filter longer? I have changed my pre-oem racor and factory filter twice at about 12K ea. I noticed that the factory filter was much cleaner than the racor (stating the obvious since the fuel has been filtered once) which had me questioning whether it was a waste to change the factory filter as ofter as the pre-oem.

Has anyone tried changing the factory filter every-other time with the pre-oem? In my case, that would put me at about 24K on oem with 12K on pre-oem.

Not a huge deal, but no sense in changing the filter excessively early...
