Has anyone had their crankshafts Cryogenic treated, or any other parts?
In the High Pro world a whole lot of engine builders and teams do this. NASCAR folks too. It would seem like a good thing to do. Some of the testominals are almost unbeliveable in the extended life of things like valves and springs.

Here is the scoop. I think that the cranks that are Cryo treated are forged, or billet. While our cranks are cast. The billet and forge cranks are frozen in order to stress relieve them, when they are pounded into their for with heat and pressure, they have looked in stress. When it is frozen or heat cycled, which is another process, they are stress relieved then and now less likely to fail.
