jtaylor11 10-25-2010, 08:59 PM Here is my 05 King Quad. I just got finished put the BBK 750 Big Bore Kit with 11.5-1 piston, Webb hot cams, port and polished head. It has a M109R injector, VDI custom tuning, Twin Air, HMF exhaust, alot of clutch work and 29.5 Outlaws. Since this picture I have painted the wheels black, relocated the radiator on the rack and centered the snorkels. We spend most of our time riding the river and creeks.......plus any mud hole we can play in.

How you like the King Quad, would you recommend it?
jtaylor11 10-25-2010, 11:13 PM How you like the King Quad, would you recommend it?
Man I have really enjoyed the King Quad. It don't have all the power stock like the V-Twins but I'm not racing. When it had stock power I had no problem turning those OutLaws over with alil clutch work. It has a few cons but nothing that cant be easily and cheaply taken care of. But if you want to do alil research on the KQ go to NyrocATV.com. Thats the biggest KQ forum. I have a 07 750 Brute Force which has lot of power but I'm constantly working on it. I'm about to go back thur the top end again. Going to build it to a 880.

Thanks, if you were gonna buy another big bore which one would you go? The one thing i DONT like to do is constantly work on things.

I don't mind working on the KQ. Only time Ive had to work on it was my fault. I have broke several axles (been working on my thumb control), been thur two belts in 3 years (bud light effecting my water deep judging ability), and valve guides (bud light effecting my water deep judging ability for three years of riding). But the KQ I had Campbell do my cylinder and Fundy has the 880 for the BF.

06 Polaris Sportsman 700
05 Arctic Cat 650 V-twin (my favorite to ride, it's a fast sum-bitch)
03 Kawasaki 650 V-twin
We use one or two mostly on a daily basis, with all of them being rode when we gather cattle. All of the Polaris ATV's have a custom built wrap-around guard, made of 1 1/4" pipe, with have payed for themselves many times over.

It has been one of the fastest four strokes out at dumont Glamis and pismo. The juice button is a wild ride. So addicting and soo EXPENSIVE. Last trip out I blow the cases apart on my first nitrous pass. Can't afford to keep building. Giving it up:-(

jtaylor11 06-03-2011, 06:07 PM Those Gades are pretty sweet. Been thinking of getting but like to drive one and see if I like that Visco-Lok. I rode on a Commander that ride and wasn't really impressed with the locker.
It's my first quad, and the only other quad I've spent any amount of time on is my dad's Polaris 800 so I don't have anything to compare it to. But it's never left me stuck. The power steering models come with a faster engaging locker (QE Visco-Lok maybe?), and that's what mine is. Both front wheels spin right away.
I don't think any Commanders have power steering, so they'd have the slower lockers and not the faster lockers.
