Does anyone know exactly where the urea tank will be located under the 2011 Duramax vans and how big it is? I hope it is between the frame rails. Thanks, Scarnose.

Its on the passenger side on the trucks on the outside of the frame rail on passenger side. I would bet it will be there on the vans as well. Stupid emissions. How DUMB.

I thought I seen where it was on the drivers side and you fill it from the fuel door on the vans. Does it really matter which side of the frame rail it is ?

I wouldnt think it would matter what side. did you see that the Obama Crew expects 20% better fuel milage out of all commercial vehicles which includes our light duty diesels by 2014. Hopefully it doesen't add another 10 grand to new vehicle cost.

It will probably interfere with attachment of running boards, nerf bars, propane tank, on board air, extra batteries, extreme air comp., fresh or grey water holding tanks, etc. There is not a lot of room under these vans and I'm guessing the def tank will pre-emp a lot of this limited space.

I built a copy of my current van , pretty loaded 2500 power everything , came to 41,000 . none available in my area w/ diesel I wonder why  They took away any chance of recouping the cost of owning one . And you have to add pee !!

That $15,000+ more than what I paid for mine. The Green Nazis, Americas #1 terrorist group is getting there way.
