I have a 2007 classic and I have a quick coolant leak! How can I go about detecting where it's at? What fluid can be put in to help detect where the leak is at?

Duramax Pax 10-23-2010, 04:01 AM Coolant tank is empy and truck is blowing white smoke while idling and sting and fluid is hitting is basically covering all under my motor and truck all the way back to the rear diff. Any or all help would be greatly appriciated Tanc Crusher 10-23-2010, 01:30 PM Check the engine oil to see if it has gained oil. If so could be a head gasket. Or possible the EGR heater is leaking.
