Sometimes my edge cts race will act wierd when I remote unlock the door or leave the key in the run position for too long before it starting it, half the time it will not come on when I start the truck if I wait too long. Anyone else have this issue sometimes?

If it happens where it doesn't turn on, are you able to just touch the screen and then it turn on? That is normally what can be done to turn on the unit if it doesn't turn on upon start up.

Mine doesn't start up automatically. I have to touch the screen.

I have just put the cts race in my '10 lmm and I am getting a message the it cant communicate with vehicle and is powering down. It will eventually come on after touching screen a few times.

Has anybody else seen this?

My insight cts comes on every time unless I start the truck with the remote starter.

Mine is touchy when I use the remote start. I find that it will usually stay on once I touch it if I do not adjust the lights or anything inside until the CTS is fully loaded. It is mildly annoying but such a minor thing I hadn't really considered asking about it. Wonder if there is a fix?

Watch for blown fuses on cig. and info pegs if comm. is lost. When comm. is lost that leaves it close to a lurch and mystery shut down time for some. Other tuners report it too if you follow it over a few weeks time on alot of models. Quad did it on mine lost comm. and had blown fuses in truck and circuits burned in tuner so it's open to discussion but I went with EFI and no issues since.

I called them about this same issue. They had an update they sent to my Evolution to fix the issue. Give them a call, they will take care of you.

I had the exact same issue when I updated mine to the newest tune. The blamed my truck but going back to the old tune fixed it.

My Insight does the same thing from time to time. I believe it happens due to the fact that when you turn your key on you wait for the glow plug light to go out and then start the truck... if you go to start the truck in the middle of the boot sequence of the edge occasionally it will trip out.

When starting the truck warm I have never had this issue.
