I haven't seen any pics of the luberfiner fuel filter w/small plastic case LF8736B/FF798. These is what mine looked like after 3000 miles. Single layer 70 pletes; seemed to rip apart very easy. Almost like wet cardboard.I don't think this meets OE ***** as claimed by Azone. I won't use one again unless its a emergency.

P.s. First time to post pics hope they come up.

Dang, that looks dirty. I hope my Racor doesn't look that bad when its time to change it. I guess I will have to cut it open and see.

One more reason to use a oem filter when ever possible if you can afford it.

I have cut open tons of different filters over the last 24 years in the shop and although have no way of proving anything have always thought that some brands that everyone thinks are so good are very poorly made inside with crumbling filter media, media not attached to the housing etc...

The top of the filter seperated form the case on its own w/cut apart. I think that is what seals dirty from clean. If you shake one and hear any noise don't use it.

Stick with the Racor filters (http://performancetruckproducts.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=2076&category_id=300&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=69) (maker of OE filter) they are the best on the market.

I heard that azone has to buy so many defective parts when they buy their products I don't know if there is any truth to that but I know I have had my share of defective parts from them replaced the same starter in my escalade every time it snowed. But your filter definatley is jacked

I bought the 445 Racor because it was just over twice the fuel flow of the engine at full power, so even at 50% restriction it would still give full flow. Not that I ran the engine at full power often. What is the fuel flow of this PFF50216 filter?
