:( When I was in a decent rain storm a couple days ago I noticed water running down the inside of my rear window on the passenger side.

Took the truck to the stealer and they told after one hour water test they claim my third brake light up top is leaking. They also said is is not covered by my major guard warranty and for them to fix it would cost 75.00 $ for parts plus labor!

Has anybody else had a leak from this area? I have use the search link to no avail.:help:

Remove the light , it has two small phillips head screws.........get some black RTV or plain old silicone and put a very, very small bead where the light spoungy gasket contacts the paint...........reinstall it and your leak should be fixed for less that $10.00........
