TCM P0700 Help! I was going down the interstate in overdrive. Juice on 3, predator on 40 HP. Stood on it beside a buddy and the tranny popped and went to third with the check engine light on. Plugged in the Predator...and code read TCM P0700. I tried to reset it with the predator but it would not go away. Turned the truck off and cranked back up. The trans went back to 1st and seemed to shift ok but I did not stand on it. When I got home I unhooked the battery for about 20 minutes and then started the truck.....ck engine light came back on. How do I reset this?????? Or have I really hurt the Allison?? Thanks in advance!!
Got Juice?

Get the Master Card out..............or put the tunes away..........
Once you hurt it............it's weaker............every time you hurt it again..........it holds less and less...........
Get a tranny and really feel what it's like to put that power to the pavement...........

Good Luck.............you are standing on the slippery slope.........will you fall or will you stand...........most of us have slid down to the insane level..........
Your days are numbered...........better call Suncoast or ATS.........

OK Ok Ok OK!!!!! I am going to do the upgrade. But, in the meantime......how do I get the light to go off. How much does the upgraded trans cost? Who is Mike L and what is his phone number?

Mike L. is the owner of Inglewood Transmission........
His number is 310-674-4400.........
The light will go out eventually, but the code is stored in the DTC's so it has to be cleared by a TECH II scanner.
If you go with a kit expect to pay $2200-$2700 for a Suncoast plus R&R, fluid, etc.........an ATS will cost the same roughly unless you get the Co-Pilot..........then that will add another $1200 or so to the Price.........
Complete drop in units with a warranty will run $5500-$6500 plus install........
It ain't cheap, but it sure is fun.............
