I am looking at a 2007 GMC 3500 Dually extra cab 2wd that is a cab and chassis truck. I intend to put a dually bed back on it and am wondering if the rearends are the same width as the regular trucks?

This is the Sierra Classic.....body is still the old style....

I was told that the cab and chassis trucks had a narrower rearend but don't know for sure if this is true.......didn't want to put a dually bed on this and it looked funny.....LOL

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I belive the cab-n-chassis is much narrower in the real then the dually pick-up.

I spoke to the dealer and they told me it was narrower but stronger I am wondering what I could do to make this the same width as I would like to install an OEM dually bed back on..maybe some wheel adapters might do the truck.....I plan to lower with truck with 22's so maybe I might not need to do anything...
