I installed the GM factory XM set up in my truck (thx DmaxAlliTech) today, and had it activated and it works fine with the factory 6 disc head unit and steering wheel controls and all,

BUT the only info on the screen is the Channel Number and Station Name, theres no Song artist name or song title on the screen, I tried pushing the "info" button but only says "no info".

Is this normal ?

My Skifi XM in my other truck shows artist name and song title.

Mine does the same thing, DD. No idea if there is a fix.

Try pushing the center of the tuning knob. I think it should toggle between three settings. Station name, Song name, Artist. If you prefer to stay on one setting, then push and hold the center for a couple of seconds and this will be your default setting.

Dang smart aleck kids nowadays. I thought "Info" only worked on AM/FM.....:cookoo: Shows you how much I know. It was so obvious I couldn't see it....
