: 100k mile upgrades questionable? rushingbc 07-30-2005, 12:12 PM I am new to the diesel community, and I bought a '01 dmax with 64k miles on it. I now have been bitten by the performance bug with 100k miles on the truck. Has anyone tried going big (450-500hp) with that many miles on the motor? I know about the little things (tranny, lift pump, exhaust, programmers, brakes), but is it a bad idea from the start? :help2: acehi 07-30-2005, 05:12 PM 100K miles.... Spend the time and research before you spend your money and it will pay off in the long run. Like acehi said it's just getting broke in.
